100% ONLINE + INTERACTIVE
Professional relationships and networks are keys to success in the screen industry. At times career pathways aren’t clear, this is your opportunity to benefit from industry experts with the experience and knowledge to help guide and mentor you.
The Career Mentors program gives delegates unique access to a 30 minute mentoring session to guide you towards your chosen field – whether you are interested in a key creative role such as writer, producer, director or cinematographer, a craft role such as VFX or animation, post production, games, or just wanting to get your foot in the door.
A snapshot of industry mentors include: Todd Abbot Head of Comedy at ABC, Matt Vesley of Closer Productions, Director Maddie Parry (Nanette for Netflix), Director Richard Jasek, Writer Elise McCredie (Nowhere Boys, Stateless), Producer Bec Summerton of Closer Productions, Animation Writer Jasmine Yang of Glitch Productions, or explore VR with Nathan Anderson of New Canvas.
In your half hour sessions you can discuss your career goals and receive guidance and advice for your next steps. These can be booked until the 7 October. The day and time of your session will be scheduled at a time that suits both mentor and mentee.
